I am so grateful for Take Care Ministries. This ministry helped me during one of the most challenging times in my life. Separated and estranged from an abusive husband with two young children, I was struggling to make ends meet. Even though I was able to rent an apartment for us, I could not afford to furnish it with the necessities to make it comfortable for living. Take Care Ministries stepped in and helped us by furnishing most of the apartment, including the bedrooms, bathrooms, and all of the kitchenware. The best part I will never forget and appreciate is the counsel received, encouraging me to always seek the Lord and know He will never forsake me. God provided for us through Take Care Ministries! I know that I can count on them if needed!

One Sunday at church, I was feeling overwhelmed because I had lost my job two weeks before. I decided to trust God and had a song of praise in my heart. After church, I shared my situation with a fellow church member and asked her to please let me know if she heard of any job prospects. After she walked away, a lady said she had overheard our conversation and listened to me explain my situation. Then, she asked me what my immediate need was. I was hesitant, but I told her. She said that Take Care Ministries would help me. I was awestruck! She was not even a member of the church but was there visiting that particular day. I know that the Lord led her there just for me! Since that day, she has continued to encourage me to seek and serve God. I will always remember and support this ministry because I know it was designed by God.
