Brick Wall

The Master Mason

As I was studying the Old Testament Bible Book of Nehemiah, the Lord emphasized Nehemiah surveying “the walls of Jerusalem that were broken down and the gates that had been destroyed by fire.” (chap 2) The Holy Spirit showed me that this is what many of us presently sense as the condition of our lives spiritually and possibly physically, with the current state of the world and daily living. The walls have been breached! Some of us are confused, frustrated, or fearful as we are bombarded by news reports, relationship struggles, unexpected bills, doctors’ reports, and decisions to make. These are just a few things that can leave us feeling overwhelmed. It may be challenging to find a solution or grab hold of and retain the promises of God.

Now, the Good News. If you are a believer in Christ, you have a sure foundation! Ask the Lord to manage your rebuilding/repair project. Faith dictates that we give the difficult situation and its unknown outcome, and every detail of it to the Lord, the one who redeems and restores. Surrender your plans to the Father and yield control to His leading.

If you are not a believer, find rest by accepting Christ as Savior. He is willing and able to supply all that you need! May we continue to encourage one another as we fight the good fight of faith together!

John 10:10

The thief’s purpose is to steal, kill, and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Ephesians 2:20

Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.

Matthew 11:28-30

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
